Been busy for a couple of weeks.
Finally received my new air rifle after several delays with the dealer. Since my last post i have secured a permission on a london city farm who has rats but overwhelmed with pigeons. Site is quite sensitive due
to neighbours and some volunteers being anti shooting. The problem we had was when we could go to the site in the evenings, most of the pigeons had flown away from site once they had fed. We had to keep all our shooting within the site and only when there was a solid backdrop to shoot against. After several visits, we have come away with around 16 pigeons and 1 crow. Rats can wait for a while.
North london customer update.
My other new customer in north london which i have bogged about already had me visit two weeks ago and unfortunately, five shots resulted in zero kills. I had zeroed the scope in and under test i was bang on target forming a cluster of shots on the paper target. when it came to shooting the rats on view, i was always an inch out.
I visited one or our colleagues the following day, where we tested the gun and having no manual with the gun, i totally forgot about the power adjustment. After increasing the power, i was set up and hitting target spot 100%.

Another website enquiry.
Had a call from an allotment organistaion in North London. I visited the site last week as the lessees were keen to see the dogs working. Unfortunately, the dogs would have destoyed the allotments as all plots were tightly congested with no end of undergrowth and crops. The only method is to use air rifles so i await their agreement before i can visit to shoot.
The allotments have been overwhelmed with rats for sometime, being seen during the day and evenings. The council recommended to the lessee's that shooting was the best method in their case. Currently waiting for the group to agree to my shooting. There is a debate going on between some of the lessee's but with so many crops being damage as well as property, i would have thought they would have jumped on it.
