Since my last post, i have continued shooting at the city farm. Numbers have decreased where you can see the difference. The pigeons have got used to myself being there so they are reluctant now to come down off the roofs to feed when i am there. In the early days we were averaging six each evening but recently i have been down to just one kill each visit. The last two weeks, the pigeons have not been on site at all, so not taken one shot.
I am visiting farms when i can when i am on my travels for work but unable to secure any permissions for the team with the dogs or air rifles.
A london allotment contact me back a few months ago for dealing with the rats on their grounds that are destroying their crops. As the ground is owned by Camden Council, they were unwilling to give me permission unless i did certain courses and training, which i decided not to do, due to costs and availability during the current covid restrictions. Now we are into winter, the lessees have come back to me asking to bring the dogs in as all their crops are now dead due to the incoming winter. So watch this space as i hope to be able to post video and photos of the day.
